Members of the Administrative Appeals Tribunal are remunerated according to determinations issued by the Remuneration Tribunal under the Remuneration Tribunal Act 1973 (Remuneration Tribunal Act). Section 16C of that Act requires accountable authorities to publish reports of payments falling within s16A(1) of the Remuneration Tribunal Act, that is payments that, although made bona fide, were not made consistently with the requirements of the relevant determination of the Remuneration Tribunal and are recoverable.
The Tribunal has conducted a review of remuneration of certain members and to 30 June 2022 identified the following payments reportable under s16C of the Remuneration Tribunal Act.
